Kong

Kong is a well-started 12.3-hand gaited riding donkey gelding with a striking black mask. He’s smooth, forward-moving, and covers country well on the trail. I believe he has a BLM brand on his neck, so he likely came from the wild at some point.

He’s already riding nicely and would make a great project for someone who wants a sure-footed, forward-moving donkey with an interesting past. When he first arrived, he was cautious about cars passing a quarter mile away, but he’s improved tremendously in a short time and keeps learning every day.

Would also make a great companion animal.
